Creating a Merchant at Yourpay is easy. Here is a guide to get you started.

In the code example we are posting a number of variables to our API function "create_merchant". These variables are as follows:
Note: 'Form Field name' does not contain the actual names of the input fields, but serves as a reference of what to input where.

|City||CompanyCity||City of the company|
|Company Phone||CompanyPhone||Phone number of the contact person|
|Address||CompanyAddress||The address of the company|
|Postal code||CompanyPostal||The postal code of the companys city or district|
|Domain Name||CompanyDomain||The domain name of the webshop|
|Name of Merchant||CompanyName||The company name of the merchant|
|PSP||psp||If you're a partner with Yourpay, and you're creating the account on the merchants behalf, provide your partner id. Otherwise leave blank|
If you run the code example you're presented with a form, which look like this:
When you have filled in the form and submitted with 'Create Merchant' you get a response back from our API. This response looks like this:
Below is a table which describes the variables in the response json.
|success||'1' if the call succeeded, '0' if it failed.|
|merchantid||The merchantid of the created merchant.|
|prod_merchantid||Will always be '0' as you need to go through Yourpays onboarding process to receive a production merchantid.|
|user_id||User id of the merchant. Used in various API calls|
|username||This is the username the merchant should use to login to our admin portal.|
|pwd||The assigned password for the merchant|
The comments about the merchant that you input in the form.
|token||The merchant token. You need this if you're using our plugins.|
